Validation
Legal and Administrative Validation :
The date system displayed in this clock is approved by Indian Parliament in 1957 as “Indian National Calendar” . This date system is valid in banking system and major legal documentations like Govt. Gazette, International Agreements, Notifications from the PM office and the President’s office, RBI Circulars, etc.
Scientific Validation :
Most of the academicians, scientists (specially astrophysics and astronomy), research fellows, do acknowledge the scientific base of Indian Jyotish Shastra.
Social Validation :
Before the parliamentary resolution in 1957, a national committee was formed headed by Dr. Meghnad Saha. Committee members were from different parts of India and well versed with the traditional Panchanga knowledge as sell as modern sciences. The Calendar was approved by all the members.
Cultural Validation :
Most of the experts from religious and cultural knowledge base i.e. Jyotish Shastra, do appreciate and adopt the Indian Solar calendar – date system as authentic.
